This unit combines both online and classroom based training.
This Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) unit is a nationally accredited unit of competency. This course will provide you with a recognised certification.
How It Works:
Simply sign up, make payment and start the course. The theoretical part of this course is online which means you can study in your own time and at your own pace. Once you have completed
the theoretical part of this course online you will need to attend a face to face practical session with a qualified Trainer & Assessor in a classroom. You must attend the practical classroom session within 3 months of
completing the online theoretical portion of this unit.

Once you have completed the Online portion of this unit you will be able to make a booking for one of our practical classroom sessions.
After completing this Provide First Aid unit, you will be able to provide the necessary skills needed to respond to a medical emergency with the goal of saving lives, reducing pain and injury until qualified medical help takes over. Resume your course from where you left it by signing back in with your email address and password. Once you are deemed competent in the Theory and Practical aspect of
this unit you will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate (Statement of Attainment).
* Please note: the practical aspects of this course includes (but is not limited to) the candidate demonstrating their ability to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single
rescuer CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. If this physical ability is a concern for you then please contact us to discuss in more detail.
Language, Literacy & Numeracy: All students enrolling in this unit should have a basic language, literacy and numeracy understanding. To determine if your Language, Literacy & Numeracy levels are aligned to the entry level requirements of this unit please take this optional LLN test.
