Delivery Method: Online virtual classroom.
Virtual classroom session duration: minimum of 6 hours.

Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment (certificate) and a SafeWork QLD White Card.

You will need one of the following to attend the virtual classroom:

  • Smart Phone: only Android that has multitasking capabilities
  • Tablet (iPad or any Android Tablet that has multitasking capabilities such as iPad's that have "Split View" capabilities)
  • Laptop with webcam & microphone
  • Desktop PC with webcam and microphone
You will need the following PPE items available to you during the virtual classroom session:

  • Hard Hat
  • Hearing Protection
  • Eye Protection
  • High Visibility Retro Reflective Vest


If you don't have access to the PPE items listed above we can assist you in obtaining them.

The Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry course is a Nationally Recognised qualification and is a compulsory requirement for anybody who wishes to kick-start their career or continue working in the construction industry throughout Queensland.

Once you have successfully completed our Construction Induction Training, you will be able to work on a construction site and you will have a better understanding of occupational health and safety procedures.

This course is conducted in an online virtual classroom setting with a qualified trainer. To make a booking all you need to do is select your location and date. Once you have made your selection you can register and make payment to secure your booking. Once you have completed the online virtual classroom session, and all other course requirements you will be issued with a statement of attainment and your white card will be posted to you. You will be required to complete our Photo ID check during the enrolment process. This involves you providing us with a photocopy of your photo ID (Licence, passport or proof of age card). Once we have received all of the required forms and you have made payment, your Statement of Attainment will be emailed to you with 48 hours and your Construction White Card will be posted to you within 14 working days.
